THE EXAMPLE OF JOB.

A GODLY MAN CALLED JOB.
The Man Who Lost Everything.JOB 1:1-22.

1. I heard a sermon one time entitled ‘Are you having a bad hair day?’ We all know what is meant by such a statement. You have your hair all fixed and then go outside. The wind gets at it and it don’t look the same.

2. In my opinion, if the wind don’t blow your hair away, you are not having ‘a bad hair day.’ Job was not just having ‘a bad hair day,’ but it was probably the worst day of his life. 3. In fact, to say that Job was having a bad day would seem to be an understatement. This is the kind of trauma that would leave one scarred for life. In fact, in most cases, it would all but destroy one’s life.

4. He lost all his children, who were likely adults at that time, as well as all his wealth.
